What is it?
Industry Practice is an industry-integrated learning experience where students run companies, take on different roles and deliver work for real clients — launching in Semester 1, 2027.
Companies of up to 120 students
Section titled “Companies of up to 120 students”Companies work with industry clients across local government, fintech, game development and digital health.
Each company is managed by students under the guidance of industry and academic experts.
Work that grows over time
Section titled “Work that grows over time”A project can span multiple semesters and student cohorts. You may join work already underway, develop it further and prepare it for the students who follow.
Each project contributes to a product or service that is delivered to a client.

Clients beyond the classroom
Section titled “Clients beyond the classroom”Work is shaped by clients from industry, local government and the community sector, across areas including finance, governance, games development and health.
Mentors who work alongside you
Section titled “Mentors who work alongside you”Industry and academic mentors are part of the learning environment.
They take part in classes, provide feedback as your work develops, and bring different expertise and professional perspective into your company.
