About our project
FoodTrust is a website that helps parents make informed decisions about packaged foods for children aged 6–36 months. By scanning or searching a product, parents receive personalised nutrition analysis based on their child’s age, allergies, and nutrition goals — going beyond generic labels to explain what the ingredients actually mean for their child. FoodTrust also lets parents track foods consumed throughout the day, comparing combined nutrient intake against age-appropriate daily reference values, so they can understand overall patterns rather than judging a single product in isolation.
