About our project
EchoCommunity is a community engagement platform designed to help older adults discover local activities, connect with community events, and access practical support. The platform brings together external events and community-hosted activities in one place, allowing users to explore opportunities based on location, preferences, and accessibility needs. It also supports event participation, feedback, support requests, and volunteer involvement. EchoCommunity aims to reduce barriers to social participation by providing a simple and accessible digital experience. By combining community information, personalised recommendations, and support features, the platform encourages stronger local connections and helps older adults participate more confidently in their communities.
