FIREBREAK

Shielding Crisis & Community Resilience
About our project
FIREBREAK is a web-based platform designed to help Victorian households strengthen their bushfire preparedness. It allows users to build a household preparedness plan, review local bushfire context, test their arrangements against realistic disruption scenarios, and identify hidden weaknesses or missing backups. The platform then provides clear, personalised guidance to help users improve their plan and keep it up to date. FIREBREAK does not replace official emergency services or predict bushfire risk; instead, it helps households turn existing preparedness guidance into practical, testable and actionable plans.
