About our project

Healthere is a multilingual healthcare navigation app designed to help migrants in Victoria overcome language barriers and unfamiliarity with the Australian healthcare system. It combines healthcare translation, nearby hospital and healthcare service discovery, interactive maps, and emergency resource information in one accessible platform. Users can find nearby healthcare services, communicate essential information in their preferred language, and access Triple Zero (000) during emergencies. HealthAhead also supports family members and carers assisting older migrants. The app aims to make healthcare navigation simpler and more accessible without collecting personal medical data or providing medical diagnosis or treatment advice.
