Inclusive Design and accessibility
About our project
SportAble Melbourne is a web platform that helps wheelchair users find accessible sports venues and sporting events across Greater Melbourne and Victoria. It provides venue and event search, accessibility details such as toilets, parking, transport and change facilities, accessible directions, and inclusive features like clear map legends, keyboard support, high-contrast mode, and read-aloud summaries. Users can compare confirmed and unknown information, save events temporarily, and export their event list without creating an account.
All this content was created by Monash University students as part of their final year study and assessment. If any material appears online that you believe is unauthorised, please contact the Chief Examiner of IE units
