About our project
SiteSort is an AI decision-support app for small and medium construction and demolition contractors in Victoria. Photograph a skip and SiteSort identifies the materials and estimates their weight. Contractors correct the list, flag anything possibly hazardous, and choose a recovery pathway for each material, with reuse ranked first and landfill last. The app matches every material to a registered local facility, shows the diversion rate and landfill levy avoided, then drafts a site report citing EPA Victoria guidance, ready to export as a PDF. Every figure traces to a public source or the contractor’s input, and photos are never stored.
