About our project
RouteRest is a web application designed to help long-distance heavy vehicle drivers plan safer journeys and reduce fatigue-related risks. It helps drivers check realistic arrival times, plan required rest breaks, and find suitable rest and refuelling locations. During the journey, RouteRest provides fatigue risk updates and timely safety reminders. AI-powered voice assistance supports safer, hands-free interaction and helps reduce driver workload. By combining journey planning, fatigue prevention and AI support, RouteRest helps drivers make safer decisions before and during their journey.
