Improving Workforce Safety
About our project
Melbourne construction workers face severe health risks from extreme heat exceeding the 35°C regulatory threshold. Manual, inefficient mitigation methods have contributed to nearly 1,000 lost disability-adjusted life years and a 5.3% surge in compensation claims on hot days (33°C–36°C). HeatPulse solves this by offering an individualized, location-based platform that uses real-time data to provide personalized heat risk assessments and actionable safety preparation directly to workers.
