Rediscover Biodiversity & "Lost" Species
About our project
Rewilding is a web-based platform designed to help Greater Geelong homeowners support local biodiversity. It uses local biodiversity, vegetation and species data to identify nearby habitat conditions and habitat gaps. The platform provides location-specific native plant recommendations based on local wildlife needs and helps users visualise wildlife-friendly garden designs. By connecting individual gardens with surrounding habitats, Urban Rewilding aims to improve habitat connectivity and encourage homeowners to actively contribute to urban biodiversity conservation.
