About our project
HerSTEM helps women entering and working in STEM choose between Australian employers using published gender equality data.
Each year the Workplace Gender Equality Agency publishes the pay gap of over ten thousand employers. But it only says what an employer’s number is — not whether it is typical, which way it is moving, or whether a blank means equality or silence.
HerSTEM answers that. Search any STEM employer, read the measures it actually reported, and compare up to three side by side. Missing figures are labelled not reported, never zero. We do not rank employers or give an overall score.
