About our project

HeatPlan is an accessible, data-driven solution designed by RESILI0 to address growing heatwave risks for older Victorians living independently at home.
It combines live weather forecasts with household and occupant information to provide personalised heat-risk alerts, overnight outlooks and practical cooling guidance. HeatPlan also supports structured check-ins and shared escalation plans for families and carers, and helps users identify suitable nearby cool spaces based on accessibility, opening hours and distance. By turning general heat warnings into household-specific guidance, HeatPlan supports timely action while preserving the independence of older people.
