About our project

PlayShift Compass is a progressive web application designed to help children aged 8–14 stay physically active and build healthy habits. The platform provides short, gamified indoor and outdoor activity missions based on factors such as available time, weather and nearby recreational spaces. Children can earn rewards, maintain streaks and track their progress, while parents can support and monitor their activity. PlayShift Compass aims to reduce common barriers to physical activity by making exercise more accessible, engaging and easier to fit into everyday family life.
