About our project
Australia’s health system is free and available but for the newly settled Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) people, knowing it exists is the barrier, not affording it. The health system is often confusing even for people who grew up here layered with entitlement rules, service types, and unfamiliar terminology, all usually explained only in English. HealthHere is built around three most important questions every new arrival needs answered: “What health services exist?”, “Can I use them?”, and “How do I access them?”. HealtHere allows users to find and access health services and make free entitlements known to them.
