About our project
SafeRoute is a website that helps Melbourne delivery riders make informed decisions before starting their shifts. It brings together historical road crash data and hourly weather forecasts to highlight crash hotspots and help riders understand conditions in their delivery areas. Interactive maps allow users to explore crash patterns, while weather information includes temperature, UV, wind and rainfall. SafeRoute supports safety awareness and shift planning without collecting personal location data or requiring an account.
