About our project

SipAware is a mobile-first preventive health web application designed for Australians aged 50–69 who drink alcohol in everyday and social settings. It helps users understand their alcohol consumption by converting drinks into standard drinks, comparing intake with Australian health guidelines, and highlighting age-related alcohol risks. Users can record drinks manually, search or scan existing products, review their drinking history and trends, and export a summary for discussion with a GP. SipAware aims to make trusted alcohol-health information easier to understand and apply to everyday drinking decisions.
