Improving Workforce Safety

About our project

Since 2019, eight people have died in Victorian forklift incidents, three of them pedesitrians, and pedestrians accounted for 65 of 157 accepted forklift-iinjury claims in 2023 alone. One 2021 death led to Victoria’s first workplace manslaughter conviction, with the fine set to 3 million AUD on appeal. Safely_AI is a computer-vision safety platform which helps warehouse managers act before harm occurs. It detects forklift-pedestrian near-misses and PPE non-compliance from CCTV footage already in place, flagging locations where recurring risk demands a safety control review, and drafting the incident reeport. We turn existing foorage into the early warning that prevents the next fatality.
