About our project

FixForward is a Melbourne-focused website that helps adults make informed decisions about faulty household appliances and teaches children aged 7–12 about e-waste through FixForward Quest. Adults can identify an appliance, check recalls and warning signs, compare repair and replacement costs, and explore repair or recycling services. In a separate child-safe experience, children help illustrated characters Pip and Flo solve fictional appliance stories, find clues, sort items, earn Sparks and unlock discoveries. The game never asks children to inspect real appliances, while parent guidance connects its lessons to responsible choices at home.
