Avoiding Harmful Substances
About our project
Every day, people with asthma walk through Melbourne’s CBD, where traffic exhaust, construction dust, and pollen vary sharply street to street, with no way to know it in advance. ClearPath Spatial is a mobile-friendly website that turns open environmental data into street-level route guidance. Users set personal hazard preferences, then compare a low-exposure route against the fastest one and see which hazard drove the difference. Real-time alerts with one-tap detours warn users when they enter high-pollution zones, helping people manage their exposure and breathe easier without giving up the journey.
