About our project
HelpingHalf is a web-based platform designed to support single-parent families in Victoria by bringing essential information into one place. It helps users compare housing affordability and safety across areas, find childcare and community support services, and access food support information. By connecting trusted open-data sources with a simple, accessible interface, HelpingHalf reduces the time and effort required to navigate fragmented support systems and helps families make more informed decisions about essential needs.
