OysterGuard

Digital Trust & Consumer Safety
About our project
OysterGuard is a scam-safety platform built to help Australians aged 50 and over to feel more confident when dealing with suspicious messages, payments, or online interactions. Instead of simply telling users something might be a scam, it explains the warning signs and gives clear guidance on what to do next. The platform includes ScamCheck, scam awareness resources, recovery guidance, and trusted information. It is designed to be simple and easy to use, especially for older Australians who may find online scams confusing or stressful. Our goal is to help people pause, understand the risk, and make a safer decision before taking action.
