About our project
BeforeYouAgree is a web platform that helps users understand potentially unfair terms before accepting online agreements. It retrieves and analyses terms of service and privacy policies, then uses a fine-tuned LEGAL-BERT model to identify clauses involving liability limitations, unilateral changes, termination, content removal, arbitration, jurisdiction and other risks. Results are displayed by category to help users review important clauses more efficiently and make better-informed decisions. The system provides automated screening rather than legal advice.
